Reproductive failure is the number one reason cows involuntarily leave the dairy farm. Summer heat stress exemplifies this costly issue.

These topics are the focus of next week’s webinar from the Dairy eXtension learning community. The webinar is scheduled for Mon., March 5 and will address “Strategies to Improve Reproduction in Dairy Cattle during Summer Heat Stress.”

The webinar begins at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. The speaker is Todd Bilby from Texas A&M University. He will discuss managerial, hormonal and novel reproductive technologies that can reduce the severity of summer heat stress.
