Texas Man Surrenders After String Of Cattle Thefts

The Bonham Journal reports the investigation by Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson and county detectives leads to one man turned himself in to authorities for cattle thefts in Freestone and Navarro Counties.

Audry Lopes is charged with four counts of cattle theft after stealing 35 head of cattle. Investigators suspected the thefts in Freestone and Navarro Counties in March and February were connected. The investigation revealed the thefts by Lopes were connected.
