Learning opportunities available for Hispanic workers

Several training opportunities are available for Hispanic dairy workers in the coming weeks. Check out these three events made possible by the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin: 

• Hands-on milker and skid loader safety program on Aug. 9 at Enge Farms in North Freedom, Wis., and on Aug. 10 at Wenzel Hilltop Dairy, Hilbert, Wis.
• Obstetrics of healthy calf delivery and general calf care workshop on Aug. 30 and 31 at Buresh Farms in Luxemburg, Wis., or Dic-Wisco Farms, Dorchester, Wis.
• People management skills for Hispanic supervisors seminar on Sept. 20 at Fox Valley Technical College in Chilton, Wis.
