Want to improve your milking practices and on-farm culturing? Then plan to attend one of several upcoming Penn State Extension programs.
Here are the dates and locations for the upcoming “Best Milking Practices” program:
February 27, 2013: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (EDT/EST.) at the Penn State Cooperative Extension Office, Chambersburg, Pa.
March 1, 2013: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (EDT/EST.) at the Country Cupboard Restaurant, Lewisburg, Pa.
March 5, 2013: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (EDT/EST.) at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord, East Earl, Pa.
March 6, 2013: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (EDT/EST.) at the Dutch Way Farm Market Restaurant, Gap, Pa.
Registration fee is $35 per person. However, Pennsylvania producers and their dairy employees receive 50 percent off the regular registration fee, thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

Registration fee is $50 per person. However, Pennsylvania producers and their dairy employees receive 50 percent off the regular registration fee, thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
