Heifer mastitis seminar

Heifer mastitis is a significant threat to a dairy operation. It impacts future milk quality, milk production, udder health and cow comfort. Education is a key first step toward preventing heifer mastitis and profit loss.

Steven Nickerson, professor of dairy science at the University of Georgia, will present a seminar on heifer mastitis at the 2012 World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis. Nickerson will discuss causes, symptoms and economic impact of heifer mastitis, as well as steps that can be taken to help stop its spread

Central Life Sciences (ClariFly Larvicide) is hosting the seminar. Here is the schedule:
