Colostrum saver has given me a better way to manage harvesting colostrum. If I don't get it refrigerated right a way, as long as I get an ounce of it into the colostrum, it will keep. It's making my calves do better
We have been looking at this stuff to help save what we harvest. I can't say that it changes everything overnight, but we have seen more consistency in immune s being given to the calves. I would probably recommend it's use , just like insurance. As far as the money, it's actually a bargain per feeding.
We manage calves for a living. Overhead cost has been an issue with managing our operation. We have been recommending Colostrum saver in the farm colostrum before we see the calves. I saw this advertised in the Progressive dairy publication. i have been having problems with keeping the
colostrum fresh. My vet told me it was the lack of good storage and harvesting management. I have learned
to this many years ago and now I was interested to see if this product could help reduce some of the storage problems and quality loss. I can say the reason I'm writing this is that the product has proven itself to me.
Colostrum saver comes in a gallon jug and appeared to be a big price, but per dose it's worth every penny.
I can keep colostrum in a cool area with Colostrum saver in it . It will help the product stay fresh and help reduce the calf scours.
