Lower starch diets can still make milk, say dairy scientists at the W.H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute in Chazy, N.Y.

In the August 2012 Miner Farm Report, Heather Dann and Kurt Cotanch explain results of a feeding trial comparing a conventional 26 percent starch diet to a low 21 percent starch diets by using two basic feeding strategies to lower dietary starch.
