Milk components are an important part of how farmers are paid for their milk, so it is important to understand how feed and management can play a part in milk composition.

In the latest issue of Kentucky Dairy Notes, Donna Amaral-Phillips, dairy extension professor at the University of Kentucky, discusses genetic, environmental and nutritional factors that affect milk composition.
