Then tune in to an eXtension webinar on Jan. 14, presented by Dr. Chad Dechow of Pennsylvania State University. Dechow will review genomic technology and implementation, as well as comparisons of early genomic predictions to actual daughter proofs. He also will discuss inbreeding and how genomics can be used as a herd management tool.

The webinar will take place from noon to 1 p.m. (CST) on Jan. 14.
