WASHINGTON, D.C. – The 2011 Food and Farm Facts book and map poster, produced by the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Public Relations Department, is fresh off the press.

“Today’s farmers and ranchers work hard to provide a variety of food choices to meet consumer demand while using fewer resources,” said AFBF President Bob Stallman. “Anyone interested in telling agriculture’s story will find Food and Farm Facts to be a useful resource to add to their toolkit.”

Color photographs and charts/graphs are used to illustrate interesting facts about agriculture’s shrinking environmental footprint; retail food costs (Where Do Food Dollars Go?); food consumption and safety; and historical highlights. A map poster that shows where major crops and commodities are grown is included with each book.

New with this edition, bundles of various Food and Farm Facts products are available.
