Accelerated Genetics awards scholarships

Every year Accelerated Genetics awards scholarships to youth both just entering and already enrolled in college and that are studying in the agricultural field

Four $500 scholarships are awarded to youth just graduating from high school and beginning college.

The 2010 recipients are Cassandra Chittenden of Schodack Landing, N.Y., Andrea Pagenkopf of Lancaster, Wis., Michell Wedig of Darlington, Wis., and Briar Jeg of Chehalis, Wash.

Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students currently enrolled in agricultural programs at college. Accelerated Genetics works with the National FFA organization to select these students.

The 2010 recipients are Amy Kringle of Barron, Wis., and Elizabeth Olson of Hutchinson, Minn.
