To increase awareness of reproductive protocols, a two-page document entitled “Dairy Cow Reproduction Protocols” was developed by an ad hoc committee of scientists and veterinarians at academic institutions, Matt Lucy, dairy reproduction specialist at the University of Missouri explained at the 2011 DCRC Annual Meeting.
 
The Dairy Cow Reproduction Protocol sheet is designed to be a reference guide for individuals involved in dairy cow reproductive management. The sheet is intended to be a living document with annual updates. Additional management sheets (like programs for dairy heifers) are planned for future development.
