There's still time to enter the industry’s first-ever 40 Under 40 Award to recognize individuals making a significant contribution to America’s food system.
Sposnored by Vance’s Agribusiness Group, participating web and print publications include Drovers/CattleNetwork, Dairy Herd Management, Bovine Veterinarian, porkNetwork, The Packer, AgProfessional, The Grower, and Produce Ops.
“This program will recognize 40 young individuals from various industry segments whose contributions to agriculture and America’s food system are advancing the cause in the race to double food production by 2050,” says Greg Henderson, Editor/Associate Publisher of Drovers/CattleNetwork.
Individuals must be nominated by a colleague or fellow professional or themselves to receive the recognition, and individuals considered for the award must be between the ages of 20 and 40 at the time of nominations.
Nominees must be involved (owner, co-owner, employee, consultant, student) with a business involved in food production, food processing, food safety, food research, food transportation or a group, organization, association or university that serves those industries in the United States.
Successful candidates for recognition by 40 Under 40 will show a passion for agriculture, demonstrate involvement with aspect of the food industry, and have a notable record of achievement.
