An undercover video has surfaced allegedly showing abuse of bull calves at a Colorado livestock company.

The video reportedly shows abuse at the Quanah Cattle Co., a company that buys bull calves from dairy farms.

KUSA-TV (9News) in Denver reported Wednesday that the Weld County (Colo.) Sheriff’s Office is investigating allegations of animal abuse at the company as the result of a video posted this week by the group Compassion Over Killing.

Animal-handling expert Temple Grandin watched the video and is quoted by KUSA-TV as saying, “I see lots of rough handling going on, definitely not acceptable.”

The KUSA-TV report, linked here, contains footage from the video.

Is this the kind of deplorable abuse the "AG GAG" law intends to hide ? SHAMEFUL !! Pass the veggies, please.

If you are so concerned about the welfare of the animals involved , maybe you should be just as outraged at the person who videotaped the abuse but didn't stop it. It is no different than a reporter who witnesses child abuse, but doesn't stop it because he wants the "big story". Both sides of this story should be ashamed.
