The third annual Heart of America Dairy Expo will be Jan. 22-24, 2015 at the Ramada Oasis Hotel and Convention Center, Springfield, Mo.
“Our Expo offers dairy farmers in the region an alternative for educational programming closer to home and directed to our needs,” said Expo chairman and dairy farmer Larry Purdom of Purdy, Mo. “Last year we drew almost 500 attendees from 15 states. We have the largest dairy trade show in the southern Midwest, along with nationally known speakers.”
Registration is free for dairy farmers and their families, with a nominal registration fee for allied industry representatives. This year’s sponsors include Hiland Dairy Foods, Alltech, Boehringer-ingelheim, Brownfield, Central Life Sciences, Dairy Herd Management, MFA, Inc., Missouri Pork Association, Multimin USA and Progressive Dairyman.
