The field is set, the polls are open. For the third year, the Professional Dairy Producers Foundation named a strong field of candidates for a fundraising pie-eating contest.
Candidates include: Mark Diederichs, manager, Lake Breeze Dairy; Matt Repinski, master agronomist, Winfield-Land O Lakes; Keith Engel, milk quality specialist, GEA Farm Technologies; Dennis Frame, Timber Ridge Consulting and University of Wisconsin-Extension professor emeritus; Jeff Montsma, producer services manager, AgroPur; and Steve Kelm, professor, UW-River Falls.
The top three vote getters will earn a spot at the table to eat pie – without their hands – on stage at the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) Business Conference, March 18, in Madison, Wis.
To vote for your favorite candidate(s), visit http://www.dairyfoundation.org and click on VOTE. Enter your name, the name of the person you want to see in the finals, and the number of votes you want to cast. Each vote is a $1 donation to the PDPF.
