Forty-seven dairy cows have been removed from a central Minnesota farm after authorities found them living in “deplorable conditions.”
The cows were seized from a farm east of Sauk Centre, Minn., reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Some of the cows were reportedly standing in manure several feet deep and eating in areas where the feed was mixed with manure and urine.
