Zinpro adds marketing director, sales staff
Zinpro Corporation added Dr. Pierre Frumholtz as director of marketing – global. In this role, he will be responsible for developing marketing programs and systems to support the company's strategic sales direction and aligning marketing business plans with organizational objectives.
Dr. Frumholtz has extensive experience in U.S. and international agricultural marketing, having held leadership roles with animal nutrition and animal health companies for more than 22 years. Most recently, he served as senior director of house brands for a leading, international animal health and nutrition company. He is located at the company's corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minn.
Zinpro also announced the addition of Julian Casas, D.V.M., and Octavio Mendivil as account managers within the U.S. sales team, bringing enhanced sales support to the animal feed industry in California and Arizona. Both Casas and Mendivil report to Curt Greer, U.S. dairy business manager.
Casas will serve as account manager – California. In this role, he will be located in Visalia, Calif., and have sales responsibilities for the dairy industry in Central and Northern California. Most recently, he worked as a technical service consultant for a bovine genetics company. Prior to that, he worked as a veterinarian and nutritionist, as well as a veterinary technician. Casas earned a doctoral degree in veterinary medicine from the National University of Colombia in Bogotá, and a master's degree in preventative veterinary medicine from the University of California – Davis.
Mendivil will serve as account manager – Southern California & Arizona. In this role, he will be located in Tucson, Ariz., and have sales responsibilities for beef (cow/calf and feedlot), dairy, equine, and manufactured feed sales to customers in Arizona and Southern California. For the past six years, Mendivil has worked as a research coordinator for the University of Arizona School of Animal and Comparative Biomedical Sciences in Tucson. Prior to that, he worked as a sales representative for the beef business unit of a global animal health company. Mendivil earned both his master's and bachelor's degrees in animal science from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
AB Vista names North American commercial manager
AB Vista, a global supplier of micro-ingredients for the animal feed industry, appointed Stacey Homen Henthorn as Commercial Manager for North America, following the company’s continued growth in the region. Henthorn will work with the technical team and commercial partners to provide continued support and develop new business across the U.S. She most recently working as territory sales manager for Trouw Nutrition International – Nutreco, where she was responsible for all aspects of poultry sales, technical sales and worked in conjunction with the international research and development team.
