New lab techniques are making it easier (and more accurate) to predict ration quality and dairy cow performance. Now, in the September edition of the Journal of Dairy Science, researchers discuss the positive relationship between organic matter digestibility and milk production — likely related to increased diet energy available for maintenance, pregnancy and milk production.
