Morning National Slaughter Cattle Review for Tuesday, 12/23/14



On Tuesday in Kansas trade was mostly inactive on light demand, however on Wednesday 

morning trade was light to moderate on moderate demand. Compared to last week, live 

sales have sold mostly 5.00 higher at 162.00. On Tuesday negotiated cash trade was 

mostly inactive on light demand in all feeding regions. Good buyer inquiry has been 

noted this Wednesday morning in all feeding regions, however not enough sales for an 

adequate market test. Last week in the Texas Panhandle a few live sales sold from 

156.00-157.00. In Nebraska last week, live sales sold mostly at 160.00 with dressed 

sales from 249.00-251.00. Last week in Colorado a few live sales sold from 159.00-

160.00. Last week in the Western Cornbelt, live sales sold from 157.00-160.00 with 

dressed sales from 248.00-251.00.
