15 Percent Of Nation’s Cheese Comes From One Wisconsin Town

5/24/18 Celebrating Wisconsin's Cheese Heritage

Wisconsin is the nation’s leader in cheese production, producing 3.4 billion pounds of cheese in 2017. California produces roughly 1 billion pounds less.

While the whole state contributes to that large number, one town in America’s Dairyland holds the bragging rights to much of that cheese.

The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin share how cheese heritage is celebrated in Plymouth, Wisconsin on AgDay above.
