Christmas is just around the corner and that means radio stations are on a near endless loop of holiday themed music. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bell Rocks, White Christmas, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree are just a few of the most popular tunes this time of year.
A new spin on Santa Claus is Coming to Town that ties into a practice common around farms and ranches could soon be the next catchy Christmas song. The parody entitled “Santa Claus is Palpating Cows” was a joint venture by social media savvy veterinarian Cody Creelman and singer/songwriter/veterinary technician Kelsey Beth Carpenter.
A few of the lines from the song include:
“He’s got a cull list. He’s checking it twice. Gonna load you through the chute device.”
“He knows if you’ve been with that bull, so be pregnant for goodness sake.”
Carpenter provides the vocals while Creelman plays the part of Santa Claus pregnancy testing cows in a music video that is on Facebook. Watch the video below:
