Kubota Launches Hay Tools
Kubota Tractor Corporation announced today that it will enter the U.S. hay market in 2014 with an all-new line of Kubota Hay Tools.
The hay tool line will be produced by Kverneland Group, which Kubota Corporation completed a full-ownership acquisition of Kverneland Group in May 2012. Before this announcement, since 2010, Kubota had a strategic marketing alliance with Vermeer Corporation. The combination Kubota and Vermeer Dealers had the opportunity to sell Vermeer balers, rakes and related forage equipment financed by Kubota Credit Corporation.
Kubota unveiled the new implements at the Kubota National Dealer Meeting in Memphis, Tenn., earlier this month. The first phase of implements will be available at Kubota dealerships in early 2014 and will include five disc mowers, ranging from 5'6" to 10'5"; a rotary rake and tedder, with a working width of 13'9" and 17'1" respectively; and pendulum spreaders, with capacities ranging from 7.8 to 47.7 feet.
