ASF in North Korea 042919
African swine fever may now be in another country.
"DailyNK.com" reporting ASF has spread to North Korea. It's citing multiple sources inside the country saying ASF began to spread in areas on the outskirts of Pyongyang in mid-February.
The report says it has led to the deaths of many pigs that had been raised by families. The website also says authorities prohibited the distribution and sale of pork starting in late February.
The publication says North Koreans are still selling pork at markets, despite the restrictions.
