2016 PDPW Business Conference Plans to "Inspire"

Nearly 50 speakers will provide new ideas, market analysis and inspiration at the 2016 Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin Business Conference in Madison, Wis. March 16 and 17.

This year’s speaker list, for the program entitled “Inspire 2016,” is a veritable Who’s Who of dairy and ag industry speakers, ranging from the Center for Food Integrity’s Charlie Arnot to the University of Wisconsin’s Pam Ruegg to global markets expert and forecaster Daniel Basse.

Sessions range from dairy production to labor management to marketing, and this year, include three hands on learning sessions that include sessions on low-stress cattle handling and necropsies of cows and calves to look for signs of pneumonia and why animals die.

This year’s keynote is speaker is Richard Picciotto, New York Fire Department Chief who witnessed firsthand the 9/11 tragedy in New York City as the Twin Towers came down, killing thousands of civilians and dozens of New York fire fighters.
