Dairy Farmers Display Their Gratitude in New York City
Dairy farmers who belong to the Cabot Creamery cooperative took over the streets of New York City this past weekend to show their gratitude to consumers.
Roughly 100 dairy producers dressed in red flannel shirts handed out inflatable cows and toured the city in a bus decked out with the same red flannel.
The Cabot farmers visited local grocery stores to giveaway cheese samples. They stood outside a taping of the Today Show and rode the subway holding signs reading “Thank You, New York for buying our Cabot products.”
It was part of the Cabot Farmers' Gratitude Tour, a campaign for producers to meet consumers face-to-face and thank them for their patronage.
