Prepping, Responding and Recovering from Flooding
“Following one of the wettest seasons on record in California, the University of California’s School of Veterinary Medicine in collaboration with the California Department of Food and Agriculture and the dairy industry outreach program CDQAP developed outreach materials for livestock owners and particularly dairy producers,” says Michael Payne, a veterinarian with the University of California-Davis.
Many of the same techniques can be used by dairy and livestock owners dealing with Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, says Payne.
