Hoof Trimming Workshop Presented in English and Spanish

Join us for a day of education and training on May 26, 2017 from 9:30 AM-3:00 PM at Brubaker Farms, 493 Musser Road, Mount Joy, PA 17552. You must pre-register and there is a fee. Space is limited to 15 people.

This one day workshop is specifically designed to provide a better understanding of hoof health and trimming. The afternoon will be dedicated to hands-on training, interaction and coaching.

Program:

9:30-10:00 am - coffee and donuts

10:00-12:00pm - Classroom: General Anatomy and physiology of the bovine hoof

12:00-1:00 pm - Lunch (provided)

1:00-2:30 pm - Afternoon Demonstrations: preparation of hoof baths, hands-on locomotion scoring, hoof trimming using cadaver hooves and live animals
