APC, Inc., a global manufacturer of functional proteins, unveils its rebranded line of colostrum replacers for newborn dairy and beef calves here at World Dairy Expo.

The rebranding is a huge marketing effort, including a billboard on the main freeway exit leading into the World Dairy Expo grounds and banners hung in the Alliant Energy Center Exhibit Hall.

Rescue colostrum replacer (formerly branded as Acquire) is for calves which need an immediate colostrum infusion after birth. Protect colostrum supplement (formerly branded as Lifeline) is for calves who need an immune boost.

Rescue is packaged in a red, quart-sized container, that indicates it’s for use in calves who need immediate immunity help. Protect is packaged in a green, quart-sized container.

"Compelling calf photos and color coding help calf raisers quickly identify their product and side panel features easy-to-understand mixing instructions in both English and Spanish," says Beth Saxton, senior marketing manager for APC Consumer Marketing.

The new names, packaging and easy-to-follow directions are the results of farmer focus sessions on colostrum replacement products, says Saxton. Prior to the re-branding and re-design, producers were confused about which products to use, when they should use them and how to use them.

Visitors to APC’s booth in the Alliant Energy Center Exhibit Hall (3617-3718) can receive $1-off coupons for the products. Learn more on APC by clicking here. www.apclifeline.com
