The CME Spot Trade was quiet today. Cheese remained unchanged as blocks stayed at $1.8725 while barrels stayed at $1.5700. Dry whey ticked down a half cent to $0.4250/lb. Butter came up a 1.25 cents to $2.4075 while NFDM gained ¾ of a cent to $1.2425. Q2 Class III Milk Futures made huge gains as it skyrocketed upward 34 cents to $18.78, showing strength in prices as prices are well below year prior levels. Q2 Class IV Milk Futures stayed constant at $19.09.
Grains were all down today except for meal. March Corn dropped 7.75 cents to $6.7075. March Soybeans lost a half cent down to $15.1925 while March Soybean Meal aggregated nearly $14 to $495.50/ton. March Wheat fell 7.5 cents to $7.5725.
Livestock were mixed. February Live Cattle added a ¼ of a cwt to $160.825 while March Feeders accepted almost 38 additional cents to $186.825. February Lean Hogs missed the mark as they lost 10 cents to $75.825. Nearby Crude Oil found a ceiling as it bounced down 83 cents to $77.64 while March Fuel dipped 7 cents to $2.8163.
