Milk Price Futures: $22 in 2022

Class III milk closed with a strong session as futures months were up 5 to 27 cents.

Dairy prices on Monday watched butter, blocks, and barrels each climbed 3.5 to 4.5 cents/lb. Blocks inched back towards $2/lb with a $1.99 settlement. Butter closed at $2.63/lb. Whey values fell two cents to $0.76/lb. Nonfat dry milk softened a penny to $1.85/lb.

Class III milk closed with a strong session as futures months were up 5 to 27 cents. All months between March and September ended with a $22 handle in front of it. Class IV was also in the green adding 10-30 cents.

Corn traded limit higher of 35 cents on Monday and expanded limits will take effect on Tuesday. Soybeans rose 25-54 cents/bu. Soybean meal added $4/ton. The wheat complex jumped 33-75 cents on Monday as well.
