May exports of U.S. milk solids reached an astounding 16.9% of the nation’s total, according to the U.S. Dairy Export Council.
This volume represents a 2% jump over the previous high, and the highest percentage ever for a single month.
Year-to-date, 14.4% of total milk solids produced here in the United States have been exported.
