Culver’s ongoing commitment to the future of agriculture has achieved another milestone, as the Thank You Farmers Project reports a remarkable year of fundraising success. In 2024 alone, the combined efforts of participating communities and partners have propelled the project’s total donations to over $6.5 million since its inception.
A Record-Breaking Year
Founded in 2013, the Thank You Farmers Project is fueled by the generosity of Culver’s guests who participate in various fundraising activities. In 2024, thanks to outstanding guest participation, the restaurant chain successfully raised a record $1.5 million. This remarkable achievement benefits the initiative and its beneficiaries, which range from local organizations in Culver communities to national bodies like the National FFA Organization and U.S. Farmers and Ranchers in Action (USFRA).
Alison Demmer, Culver’s senior marketing and public relations manager, expressed her gratitude, stating, “We’re proud to be a part of the movement to advance the future of agriculture, and that’s only made possible through the help of our incredible guests.”
Key Fundraising Efforts of 2024
Throughout the year, Culver’s actively engaged in a variety of efforts to reach this historic fundraising total.
Scoops of Thanks Day. This annual event offered guests a scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard in return for a $1 donation to local FFA chapters and other agricultural educational bodies. The fundraiser brought in $169,457 in 2024.
Concretes for a Cause. A five-day fundraiser where Culver’s donated $1 from each Concrete Mixer sold to local hunger relief initiatives, accumulating $517,825 in donations.
FFA Ambassadors Program. Guests could nominate standout FFA members in their communities. More than 380 members were nominated, with nine earning up to $2,500 each for their chapter by participating in advocacy events.
To Farmers with Love Contest. Guests celebrated the hard work of farmers by nominating them to win prizes. From 1,421 entries, thirty will win prizes, including a $500 cash prize and Culver’s gift cards, along with a donation to their local FFA chapter. The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize and a $5,000 donation to their local FFA chapter.
Forward-Looking Initiatives
Looking ahead, Culver’s aims to further these efforts by showing gratitude to farmers, advancing climate-smart agriculture initiatives, and funding educational programs in partnership with the National FFA Organization.
