For many dairies calving can be a daily chore, but it is still beautiful to witness the miracle of life. Some dairy producers have taken to social media to share pictures of their new calves as soon as they hit the ground.

The oldest cow in the entire herd Kilsunny Ruby 14 EX90 has just calved her fourteenth calf - a lovely little heifer! Ruby is 15 years old and has produced almost 100 tonnes of milk to date.
