It instantly calculates cost per hundredweight and per cow.

The University of Kentucky has created an easy-to-use dairy cost of production calculator. Simply plug in your annual costs, such as purchased feed totals or vet costs from your Schedule F tax form, and the spread sheet does the rest.

The spreadsheet gives you estimates of costs per hundredweight, costs per cow and the percent a particular expense items (such as purchased feed or semen) makes up your costs.
