Cattle exhibitors wishing to compete at World Dairy Expo 2010 should log on now. According to Dairy Cattle Show Manager Laura Herschleb, online entries will close at midnight (CDT) on Wednesday, Sept. 1. Paper applications must also be postmarked by that date.
Animals may still be entered after Sept. 1, but the online entry system will no longer be available. Late entries must be submitted on paper entry forms, and accompanied by appropriate late fees.
Late fees for entries postmarked Sept. 2 through September 5 are $50 per animal, and those posted after Sept. 5 are $100 per animal.
To enter animals online, visit www.worlddairyexpo.com. Click on the Dairy Cattle Show & Sales tab and follow the online entry instructions under the Entry Information link. Paper entry forms are also available on the website.
“Crowning Achievements – Golden Opportunities” is the theme for World Dairy Expo 2010, which will take place Tuesday, Sept. 28, through Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis.
