May milk moves back over $25, as the rest of the dairy markets took a nap.

May milk moves back over $25, as the rest of the dairy markets took a nap. Class III Milk was up 7 cents in May to $25.01, June fell 20 cents to $24.46, with July down 14 to $24.10/cwt. The balance of 2022 was down 19-31 cents.

Class IV milk was unchanged nearby with May at 24.55, and June at 23.85, but July fell 14 cents to $23.89/cwt.

The CME spot trade was mostly unchanged. Butter fell 2 cents with 1 load trading hands to finish at $2.64/lb. The remaining products were unchanged with both Blocks and Barrels failing to move a load at $2.35 and $2.38/lb respectively.

Powders were also unchanged with Non Fat Dry Milk at $1.74/lb and Whey at $0.58/lb.

The grain and feed complex also continued to slip lower as the planters start to move in the Upper Midwest. Corn Fell 11 ½ cents to $792 ¼, Soybeans fell 23 cents to $16.55 ½ with soybean meal continuing their slip lower, down $6.30 in July to $413.60/ton.
