AMPLI-Calf Technology, a revolutionary new calf starter technology, is now available in Idaho, Oregon and Washington from Land O’Lakes Purina. This summer, the technology was tested on several Oregon and Washington farms.
“The calves on the feed grew larger, looked good and really took off on intake once they were weaned,” says John Haarsma, dairy manager for Rickreall dairy in Oregon. “Throughout the trial, the calves fed calf starter with AMPLI-Calf Technology also recovered from illness more quickly.”
