GoodSport, the first-ever dairy-based sports drink and the only natural option scientifically proven to hydrate better than water and the leading sports drink, is now available in Costco Wholesale locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Kansas.

“This is a big moment — not just for our brand, but for anyone who’s been looking for better hydration without compromise,” says Michelle McBride, GoodSport’s founder. “Athletes shouldn’t have to choose between clean ingredients and performance. At GoodSport, we deliver both.”

Unlike traditional sports drinks that rely on artificial ingredients and added sugars, GoodSport is made using electrolytes naturally found in dairy. The drink starts with ultra-filtered milk, from which it extracts essential electrolytes like sodium and potassium. It then removes the protein and lactose, resulting in a clear, light beverage that’s both refreshing and highly effective.

A peer-reviewed study from the Hydration Science Lab at Arizona State University confirms that the type and levels of electrolytes in a sports drink directly impact how well it works. Researchers compared GoodSport to water, Gatorade and BodyArmor and found that GoodSport rehydrated more effectively, thanks to its optimized sodium and potassium levels sourced from the milk. In addition, it delivers three times the electrolytes of the leading sports drink.

To support its regional rollout, GoodSport created its first-ever variety pack. The 15-pack case features three of its most popular flavors — strawberry lemonade, lemon lime, and fruit punch — offered in a larger format built for families, teams and athletes who train hard.

Professional athletes are taking notice. GoodSport has built strong relationships with elite training facilities and counts three standout NFL players as brand advocates: Jake Ferguson (tight end, Dallas Cowboys), Jonathan Owens (safety, Chicago Bears), and Terron Armstead (tackle, Miami Dolphins).

“When it comes to training and performance, hydration is key,” Ferguson says. “If you’re not hydrated, you can’t go play to your fullest potential — you’ll never be able to bring your all for the second half of the game because your body just won’t let you.”

Following this regional Costco rollout, GoodSport is preparing for further domestic expansion, with launches planned in southern California and Portland later this year. The brand also recently launched its newest flavor, mango, expanding the lineup to seven refreshing options. Internationally, the brand has begun exporting to the United Arab Emirates, where interest in clean-label, dairy-based hydration is rapidly growing. Local partners in the UAE believe GoodSport can become a category leader and are investing heavily to support its growth in the region.

With expanded access across the region, GoodSport is making it easier for athletes and active families to stay refreshed with clean, dairy-powered hydration this summer.
