World Dairy Expo Continues a Dynasty in Dairy

Dairy technology innovation. Industry networking. Educational seminars. Elite cattle shows and sales. Dairy youth activities. It’s all there and more at the 2023 World Dairy Expo, slated for October 1-6 in Madison, Wis.

“Dynasty in Dairy” is the theme of the 2023 World Dairy Expo, which will take place October 1-6 in Madison, Wis.

As always, world-class dairy cows will grace the colored shavings of the Expo Coliseum, along with a jam-packed schedule of other sites and events related to global dairy production.

The popular “Knowledge Nook” mini learning sessions will return this year, as will the World Forage Analysis Superbowl and a host of forage-related seminars.

Trade show vendors from around the world will showcase the latest in dairy innovations, technology, and services. Innovation Unveiled will feature cutting-edge, new products in the dairy industry. Adjacent to the trade show, World Dairy Expo educational seminars planned for the week include:

Tuesday, October 3 at 12 p.m.

“Mooving Cows: Revolutionizing How We Learn Cow Handling Skills”

A highly comprehensive Virtual Farm Tour will feature the Feltz Family of Stevens Point, Wis. As a sixth-generation dairy farm, Feltz Family Farm has built a dynasty of high-producing cows while expanding through diversification and technology. The Feltz’s milk 680 Holsteins with robots, and have diversified their farm with a storefront, cheese plant, pumpkin patch and corn maze, and also host farm tours.

U.S. Farm Report with Tyne Morgan will broadcast live from World Dairy Expo on Thursday, October 5 from The Tanbark lounge in the Arena Building. The Council on Dairy Cattle Breeding also will hold an Industry Meeting in The Tanbark on Wednesday, October 4.
