Dairy producers have the opportunity to acquire a Holstein calf with elite genetics when they bid on Jenny-Lou Million 2719 at the Professional Dairy Producers Foundation Live Auction on March 16.
The calf was donated by the Mitch Breunig family of Mystic Valley Dairy in Dane County, Wis. She hails from the Breunig’s well-known Lou and Toystory cow family. Daughters of both sires have topped sales across the country.
Jenny-Lou Million’s Marsh dam recently scored VG-86 with an 88-point udder at three years, 2 months and is on the Holstein Association Locator List. The Brett grandam is VG-86, and the third dam is the well-known Patron Toyane, VG-89, the dam of Toystory and Lou. Mystic Valley Dairy has earned a BAA rating of 105.2, which ranks 7th in the U.S. for herds over 300 cows.
The auction will be held March 16 at the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin’s Business Conference, after the Tuesday evening dinner at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis.
