The National Mastitis Council’s “Current Concepts in Bovine Mastitis” is now available in Spanish. The book, which is 84 pages, covers the basic theories of mastitis prevention, treatment and control.

It’s written for use by farmers and their employees, veterinarians, educators, sanitarians, field personnel and consumers.

It also illustrates the interactions of many of the agents that cause mastitis, the cow and the environment, and looks at practical methods to control the disease and reduce the cow’s mammary gland to exposure and infection. The new Spanish version also includes a glossary.

To order the book in either English or Spanish, which costs $30 for NMC members and $35 for non-members plus shipping, e-mail your order to: nmc@nmconline.org.
