Wisconsin Allows 8,000-cow Dairy

The state of Wisconsin will allow Rosendale Dairy to expand from its current 4,000 cows to 8,000.

The Milwaukee Journal reported this afternoon that the state of Wisconsin will allow Rosendale Dairy to expand from its current 4,000 cows to 8,000.

The state’s Department of Natural Resources will require additional groundwater monitoring and restrict manure spreading no closer than 200' to a well.
