For the first time a2 Milk Company has started a national campaign in the U.S.
Television commercials promoting a2 Milk have been airing since Mach 12 running on ABC, NBC, Bravo, Food Network and HGTV networks. Some of the TV shows include: The Today Show, Top Chef, The Walking Dead and This is Us.
Founded in New Zealand and now headquartered in Australia, a2 Milk has been ramping up sales in the U.S. by entering new regional markets at a strategic pace since coming to California in 2015. In January, a2 Milk made its latest move in the U.S. by expanding distribution into the Northeast, opening the company to 60 million consumers.
“We are thrilled for a2 Milk products to appear in the homes of potential consumers,” says Blake Waltrip, U.S. CEO of a2 Milk Company. “a2 Milk products have the ability to change people’s lives and this national advertising is the next step in creating awareness of the a2 Milk products and their benefits.”
Founded in 2000, a2 Milk is marketed as an alternative to other milks containing the A1 beta-casein protein because it only contains the A2 protein. a2 claims their A1 beta-casein-free milk is easier for consumers to digest. Recent research studies have also suggested that A2 milk is easier to digest.
“a2 Milk offers a solution to those consumers who experience digestive discomfort from dairy and this is the next step of our goal of giving everyone the chance to enjoy the nutritious benefits of real milk,” Waltrip says.
a2 Milk is sold at major stores such as: Wegmans, Stop & Shop, Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover, Whole Foods Market, Market Basket, Sprouts, Safeway, King Soopers, Target, Ralphs, Publix, ShopRite and The Fresh Market.
