Strong global demand for dairy continues to push cheese and butter prices to fresh highs. Just this week, cheddar settled nearly 11% higher at an all-time-high average price of $2.96 per lb. Butter set a new five-year high at $3.12 per lb., converted back to U.S. 80% butterfat content. Whole milk powder also climbed to new five-year highs.
