Sustainability is a goal farmers aim to reach in every area of their business. The three pillars of sustainability, social, economic and environmental, play a vital role in success. Recently the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy released their new Stewardship and Sustainability Guide for U.S. Dairy. Producers and other stakeholders have 60 days to comment on the new set of sustainability indicators.
The guide was established in 2013 and is intended to help the dairy sector improve suitability throughout all channels.
