Robin Schmahl, hedge and marketing specialist with AgDairy, said spreads between block and barrel cheese inverted this week. Butter was up a penny. A government report released this week said, surprisingly, butter production is up 31% from a year ago. The index for Global Frontier Auction was down 1.6%. There is continued weakness in the global markets. Next week, expect continued strength.
