  • From a bright, sunny day in July to a cold, snowy day in January, Thomas Zerebny has always been fascinated by the ever-changing weather conditions across the world. In 2008, he graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Geography. His first summer out of college was spent in the beautiful interior of Alaska working as a soil scientist for the Salcha-Delta Soil and Water Conservation District. He is currently employed by Crop-Tech Consulting, Inc., where he’s able to blend his passions for both soil and meteorology. Although his career in soil keeps him “grounded,” Thomas continues to keep an eye to the sky as a licensed amateur radio operator with the McLean County Amateur Radio Emergency Service. When he’s not working, you can usually find this avid angler on the water searching for the next big catch.
