AUSTIN - As legislators consider expanding raw milk sales, state health officials confirmed Wednesday that they’ve traced four recent cases of salmonella in the Dallas area to drinking the unpasteurized product.Three children and one adult who consumed raw milk from Lavon Farms in Plano became sick, and three of them were hospitalized, said Chris Van Deusen, spokesman for the Department of State Health Services.The gastrointestinal illnesses occurred between December and March, Van Deusen said.
