CME cheese took a tumble today, with barrels dropping to $2.1250 per pound, down 12.5 cents, with one lot traded. Blocks also fell to $2.0750 per pound, giving up 6.5 cents, with one load exchanged. NDM dipped to $1.3050 per pound, losing a penny, with five lots traded.
Fourth quarter Class III futures were mixed today, averaging $21.88 per hundredweight, nine cents lower. Q4 Class IV futures slipped to $22.64 per hundredweight, giving up 15 cents.
Grain futures continue to waver. September corn settled at $3.6525 per bushel, down two cents, while the nearby soybean contract finished at $9.5850 per bushel, losing nine cents.
